What's new in goHeather in July 2026?

We've shipped a bunch of updates over the past few weeks. Here's what's new.

PDF to DOCX conversion

Upload a PDF and goHeather converts it into an editable Word document. If the other side only sent you a PDF, you can now review and mark it up in goHeather like any other contract.

Web search and file uploads in chat

The contract chat can now search the web. Ask it to check a statute, look up a counterparty, or confirm something outside the document itself.

You can also upload documents and images into the chat. Handy if you want to ask about a side letter, an amendment, or a screenshot alongside the contract you're reviewing.

Playbook updates

Three improvements here:

Add a rule from a review. If a review flags something you want to catch every time, you can turn that insight into a playbook rule on the spot.

Private playbooks. You can now create playbooks that are just yours, separate from the ones shared with your team.

Edit with AI. Tell goHeather what you want changed in a playbook and it makes the edit for you.

Better clause insertion in Word

Inserted clauses now keep their formatting, including multiple paragraphs, numbering, and indentation. Longer clauses used to come through as flat text; now they land in the document properly structured.

Justification comments in exported documents

When you export a reviewed contract to Word, each insight now includes a margin comment explaining why it was flagged. Whoever opens the file sees the reasoning behind each change, not just the change itself.

Download a list of unacceptable edits

After a review, you can download a list of every edit that goes against your playbook. Useful for sending back to the other side or keeping a record of what was off-market in a draft.

Bulk select and delete

You can now select multiple items in list views and delete them at once.
