A larger customer sends a 24-page master services agreement and wants it back this week. goHeather reads every page, ranks what it finds and quotes the clause each finding comes from.

A small business contract template, drafted around your deal
Pick a lawyer-made template or upload your own, answer a few questions about the deal, and approve the outline goHeather proposes. You get a full first draft, and if a clause is missing you can ask for it.
AI contract review for startups, before you sign their paper
Upload the agreement the other side sent as a PDF or Word file. goHeather reads the whole document, ranks each finding high, medium or low, and puts a suggested rewrite beside the original wording.
Ask questions about any contract and see the clause behind each answer
Ask in plain English what a lease, MSA or reseller agreement says about leaving early, getting paid or who owns the work. Every answer cites the clause it comes from, so you can read the wording yourself and decide which contracts are worth a lawyer’s time.

As a commercial lawyer, I saw many deals where it simply did not make economic sense to spend thousands of dollars on legal review. I wish goHeather’s AI contract review had existed back then.

Contracts a founder handles, and what goHeather covers in them
In a company without an in-house lawyer, the founder or owner is usually the one who reads the contract, often late in the evening and a day before it is due. goHeather covers the agreements below in both directions: when it drafts yours from a template, and when it reviews the one the other side sent. In a review, each clause is quoted from your document with a plain-English summary of what it says. What you agree to is your decision, made with your lawyer where the deal calls for one.
Customer agreements and MSAs
A larger customer will often send its own master services agreement, with a statement of work for each project. goHeather reads the full document and lists what it says on the points below.
- Payment terms. How many days the customer has to pay, and what the agreement says about disputed invoices and late payment.
- Limitation of liability. Whether there is a cap, what it is tied to, and whether it applies to both parties or only one.
- Indemnities. Who indemnifies whom, for what kinds of claims, and whether the indemnity sits inside or outside the cap.
- Intellectual property. What the agreement says about deliverables, and whether any assignment reaches materials you owned before the deal.
- Term and renewal. How long the agreement runs, whether it renews automatically, and the notice window for ending it.
NDAs
NDAs come up before pitches, partner calls and early sales conversations. goHeather drafts mutual or one-way NDAs from a template and reviews the ones you are sent.
- Definition of confidential information. How broadly it is drafted, and what the agreement lists as excluded.
- Permitted use. What each party may do with the other’s information, and who it may be shared with.
- Term. How long the confidentiality obligations last, and whether they survive the end of the agreement.
- Mutual or one-way. Whether the obligations run in both directions or only one.
- Extra clauses. Whether the NDA also contains a non-solicit, a non-compete or an assignment of ideas.
Contractor agreements
Most small businesses rely on freelancers and contractors for design, development, marketing and bookkeeping. goHeather drafts a contractor agreement from your answers about the engagement and reviews the ones a contractor sends you.
- Scope and deliverables. How the work is described, and how changes to it are handled.
- Fees and invoicing. Hourly or fixed pricing, the invoicing schedule and the payment period.
- Ownership of work product. What the agreement says about who owns what the contractor creates, and when ownership passes.
- Confidentiality. What the contractor must keep private, and for how long.
- Termination. How either side can end the engagement, and what is paid for work already done.
Vendor, SaaS and lease agreements
These arrive on the other side’s standard terms, and they tend to renew and run for years. goHeather shows you how they are worded before you commit.
- Renewal and cancellation. Whether the agreement renews automatically, and how far ahead you have to cancel.
- Price changes. What the agreement says about increases at renewal or during the term.
- Data and security. What a SaaS provider says it will do with your data, and what happens to it when you leave.
- Lease term and early exit. The length of the lease, any break option, and what it costs to use one.
- Personal guarantees. Whether a lease or credit agreement asks an owner to guarantee the company’s obligations personally.
How goHeather fits your contract process
Draft the agreement from a lawyer-made template or your own, or upload the one you were sent and get a review with each clause above quoted and summarized. Send back a redline in Word with track changes, compare the version that returns, then collect e-signatures and keep the signed copy stored securely in one place. goHeather users save an average of $1,419 per deal compared with a lawyer, and they can spend legal budget on the agreements that need it.
goHeather is a contracts AI, not a law firm. It tells you what your agreement says and what to look at. It does not tell you what to accept.
