AI for legal teams that cover sales, procurement and HR
A small legal department sees every contract the company signs. Most of them are routine, and each one still needs a careful read.
- Playbooks
An NDA playbook the business can run on its own
Write your NDA positions once, in plain English. Sales and HR upload the NDA they were sent, goHeather checks it against each rule, and the ones that fall outside your positions come back to you.

AI contract drafting from your own templates
Pick one of your templates or one of ours, answer a few questions about the deal, and approve the outline goHeather proposes. You get a full first draft to edit. If a clause you usually include is missing, ask for it and it is added.
A first-pass review, done before you open the file
Upload the agreement from the vendor or the customer. goHeather reads the whole document, ranks each finding high, medium or low, quotes the clause it refers to and puts a suggested rewrite beside the original. You start from a marked-up draft instead of page one.
Negotiate where you already work, in Microsoft Word
Most negotiation still happens in Word. Run goHeather from the Word add-in on the draft you already have open, export any redline with track changes, and compare the version that comes back against the one you sent.

As a commercial lawyer, I saw many deals where it simply did not make economic sense to spend thousands of dollars on legal review. I wish goHeather’s AI contract review had existed back then.

The contracts an in-house team sees, and what goHeather covers
A legal department of one or two lawyers sees every agreement the company signs, from the NDA a sales rep needs today to the vendor contract procurement wants signed by Friday. goHeather covers the clauses below in both directions: when it drafts from your templates, and when it reviews the other side’s paper. In a review, each clause is quoted from the contract with a plain-English summary of what it says and how it is worded. The call on what to accept stays with you.
Non-disclosure agreements
NDAs are the highest-volume contract most legal teams see, and the one the business most wants to handle alone. With a playbook, goHeather checks each NDA against the positions you wrote and marks every rule compliant or non-compliant.
- Direction. Whether the obligations are mutual or run one way, and which party is named as the discloser.
- Definition of confidential information. How broadly it is drafted, and whether information must be marked to be covered.
- Term. How long the obligations last after disclosure, and whether trade secrets are treated separately.
- Exclusions and permitted disclosures. What the agreement lists, and who the recipient may share information with.
- Non-solicitation. Whether a hiring restriction sits inside the NDA, and how long it runs.
Customer agreements and order forms
When a customer sends its own master agreement, sales wants to know how long legal will take. goHeather gives you a ranked list of findings before you open the file.
- Liability cap. What it is tied to, and which obligations sit outside it.
- Indemnities. Who indemnifies whom, for what, and how widely the wording reaches.
- Service levels and credits. What the agreement commits you to, and what it says happens when a level is missed.
- Payment terms. The payment period, late fees and any set-off right.
- Order of precedence. How the order form, the master agreement and any policies rank against each other.
Vendor and SaaS agreements
Vendor paper usually arrives as a standard form with a link to online terms. goHeather reads the document you upload and pulls out the clauses procurement tends to miss.
- Use of your data. What the vendor may do with your data, including any use for its own product development.
- Security and breach notice. Whether the agreement sets a time for notifying you of a breach, and what security commitments it contains.
- Renewal and price changes. Whether the agreement renews automatically, the notice window, and what it says about price increases on renewal.
- Termination and exit. Which party can terminate, on what notice, and what the agreement says about returning your data.
- Governing law. Which state’s law is named, and whether it matches your playbook.
Offer letters and contractor agreements
HR needs these quickly and often. goHeather drafts them from your templates, filling in the name, start date, pay and work state from a few answers.
- Compensation and start date. How salary, bonus and equity references are written into the letter.
- Contractor status. How the agreement describes the relationship and who controls the work.
- Ownership of work product. How the assignment of IP is drafted, and what it covers.
- Restrictive covenants. Whether non-compete or non-solicit clauses appear, and their length and scope as written.
How goHeather fits your contract process
Start a draft from your own template, or upload the agreement the other side sent and get a review with each clause above quoted and summarized. Negotiate in Word with the add-in, export the redline with track changes, and compare the version that comes back. When the terms are settled, collect e-signatures and store the signed copy with the rest of your contracts. The routine work is done before it reaches you, and your time goes to the agreements that need a lawyer’s judgment.
goHeather is a contracts AI, not a law firm. It tells you what your agreement says and what to look at. It does not tell you what to accept. See how the review works on our AI contract review page, how drafting works on the AI contract generator page, or book a demo to go through one of your own agreements with us.
