This move marks an important milestone for goHeather. While we’ve proudly built our company in Canada, nearly all of our customer growth has come from the U.S. legal and business communities. Establishing a San Francisco office lets us shift our focus more closely on mainly supporting our U.S. customers and scaling our product for the American market.
San Francisco has always been at the heart of SaaS and legal technology innovation. By joining the ecosystem here, we’re putting ourselves closer to many of our existing customers and positioning goHeather to meet the needs of even more law firms and businesses across the U.S.
We’ll continue to serve our Canadian customers with the same dedication as always, but you’ll see our energy, product development, and community engagement ramping up in the United States.
This is just the beginning. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to welcoming more U.S. businesses and law firms to the goHeather platform.
Jeff Dutton is a lawyer who advises on technology, corporate, privacy, commercial, employment and real estate law.
Jeff founded his own small law firm 2016 (and merged it with a larger firm in 2019). Before that, Jeff was a prosecutor for the Ministry of Labour and a commercial law lawyer at a national boutique law firm.
Jeffrey is a frequent lecturer on legal matters and has been published in newspapers and trade journals. In addition, Jeff was the editor and co-author of a leading employment law text for lawyers for many years.
