If you’ve ever thought, “I wish the AI could just read one of our contracts and figure out what our rules are,” now it can.
We’re excited to announce AI Playbook Generation in goHeather, a new way to create Playbooks instantly by uploading one of your existing "good" contracts.
With a single upload, goHeather’s AI will extract your contract’s provisions, categorize them into structured rules, and build a ready-to-run Playbook that you can edit, refine, and reuse forever.
1. Upload your preferred contract
Choose a contract you already agree with (i.e. your good contract that you want all the contracts you sign to align with), such as your standard supplier agreement or NDA.
2. AI extraction
The AI scans the document, identifies every key clause like confidentiality, liability, and termination, and converts each into a rule with its clause language.
3. Edit and save
You can rename, rewrite, or remove rules before saving your new Playbook.
4. Run it on new contracts
Once saved, your AI-generated Playbook can be used to automatically review future contracts, highlighting which clauses match your preferred terms and which need negotiation. Think of it like a red light / green light system for contract review.
Until now, Playbooks in goHeather were something you built manually. That option still exists and remains popular because of the control it gives users. But for teams that want to move faster, AI Playbooks make it possible to skip straight to having a working set of rules built directly from your own contract templates.
It’s the fastest way to scale your organization’s best practices and turn institutional knowledge into repeatable logic that anyone on your team can use.
When creating a new Playbook in goHeather, you’ll now see two options:
Both paths lead to the same result - a structured, reusable Playbook that helps goHeather understand what matters most to your company/client.
Once your contract is processed, the Playbook editor displays a list of extracted rules such as:
Rule 1: Definition of Confidential Information
Confidential information includes all non-public, proprietary, or confidential information disclosed by the company to the recipient.
Rule 2: Obligation to Maintain Confidentiality
Recipient must maintain all confidential information in strict confidence and not disclose it to third parties except as permitted in writing by the company.
Each rule can be expanded, edited, or deleted. You can adjust rule names, rewrite text, or add new rules manually before saving.
If you’ve ever built a clause library in a spreadsheet or emailed the same contract checklist to your team, this is your next upgrade.
AI Playbook Generation is live for all Pro users starting today.
Go to the Playbooks tab in your dashboard and click Create a Playbook to try it.
Upload one contract, turn it into a reusable, automated Playbook, and simplify every deal that follows.
